Juvenile Offenses

Juvenile Court has a completely different set of rules and procedures than adult court, and that’s why most attorneys rarely step foot into the courthouse.

Way back in 1987, Bob was a Deputy District Attorney in the Orange County Juvenile Court, and to this date, he enjoys taking cases there because of the unique opportunity it creates to help young people move forward in their lives.

Rehabilitation, not punishment, is generally the goal in Juvenile Court. And there are opportunities to have cases dismissed there, outlined in the Welfare & Institutions Code, not available in adult court. The same is true when it comes to withdrawing pleas after a period of probation is served.

A lack of experience with juvenile law can have devasting consequences for minors. We have been practicing in Juvenile Court since 1987 and can guide you and your child through a very difficult time with any type of case.
